The most accurate way to test your gokart engine is to use a dynamomseter. I have an inertia dyno capable of testing kart engines up to 50 hp. At present the dyno uses the standard kart engine mounting system. I hope soon to have a chassis option available.

A test run takes no more than 20 seconds, and you will receive a graph of hp and torque:
